Check Yes to All Three to Qualify for Thrifty’s Best Rate Guarantee

• The same comparison rate must have been found using the same pick-up location, reservation dates, and car type for vehicle pick-up before 12/31/20 within 24 hours of booking on Thrifty.com.
• Was the rate differential based on the base rate of the vehicle, and not the taxes, fuel, surcharges, or any other ancillary charges?
• Was your rental for a daily, weekend or weekly span?

Congrats! You clicked yes to all three. You’re on your way to getting the best rate. We’ll verify the comparison rental car rate within 48 hours of receiving your claim and notify you of the results. If we need more info, we’ll reach out and ask you to provide us with additional information as necessary. Just make sure the info is sent in a timely manner (this is why you have to book 72 hours in advance!).

Exceptions to Thrifty’s Best Rate Guarantee

Sometimes, things don’t work out. Unfortunately, if any of the following exclusions apply, you can’t take advantage of Thrifty’s price match (we’re as bummed as you are):

• Rates from other car rental companies.
• Rates obtained through use of discounts, coupons, upgrade offers, pre-negotiated (e.g. group, government, corporate, tour, insurance replacement rental) or similar rates.
• Car rental components of inclusive or package rates.
• Rates that may be found on auction or wholesale websites or sites which do not display the name of the car rental company until after purchase.
• Pre-paid, discounted rates found outside of Thrifty.com cannot be compared to non-pre-paid (“pay later”) rates obtained from Thrifty.com.

Car rental rates change all the time. If you find a lower rate on Thrifty.com later on, we’ll honor the new rate, just without the added 10% discount. Hey, it’s still money saved, right?

*Terms & Conditions: Applies to rentals at participating locations in the United States and Canada. A reservation must be made at least 72 hours in advance of your rental by going directly to Thrifty.com and booking the lowest available rate for that rental car type. You must also provide us with evidence of the source of the rate on the claim form, to include but not be limited to: (i) rental and return date and time; (ii) pick-up and return location (must be same location); (iii) vehicle type; (iv) lower fare amount; and (v) web address (URL) to the source’s website in the Questions/Comments area. From the evidence provided, we must be able to verify the lower online published rate is not available at Thrifty.com. We will verify the comparison rental car rate within 48 hours of receiving your claim and notify you of the results. If the evidence provided is insufficient to verify the claim, we will contact you to provide us with additional evidence as necessary. If additional evidence is required, it must be provided in a timely manner or your claim may not be verified before your rental.

You shall be limited to six (6) Best Available Rate Guarantee claims per calendar year. Any modifications, changes or cancellations made to an existing booking that has an associated Best Available Rate Guarantee claim will result in voiding of the claim.

Thrifty reserves the right to modify the Best Available Rate Guarantee terms or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability. Thrifty reserves the right to deny or reject a claim as a result of a Thrifty or third-party printing, technical, or other error, or where such claim is, in our sole discretion, made fraudulently or in bad faith. The failure by Thrifty to enforce any term or condition shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other term or condition.
